The project created a new system to support the safety of workers at height.
Genesi Pulse (https://genesiprotection.com/en/genesipulse/) is a solution composed of sensors applied to the PPE worn by workers at height, which thanks to an IoT Gateway communicate in real time with the MangroviaIoT platform (https://www.mangroviaiot.com/) developed by SORINT.tek
The information collected by the platform is displayed on a dashboard that allows real-time visualisation of the data read and signals situations of abnormal or accidental behaviour (such as falls) by generating low, medium or high alarms.
The dashboard is flanked by a Mobile App that allows the site manager to monitor directly from the field the movements of workers at height to prevent dangerous situations for the safety of the workers themselves.
The solution makes it possible to monitor the correct application of safety procedures and generally supports the prevention of accidents at work, as well as the efficiency of intervention procedures during accidents.
